A compact porcelain cup from Alongu, a Japanese tableware collection designed by Jin Kuramoto. The collection takes inspiration from modern Asian tableware, with carefully considered forms designed to complement a wide range of food and drink.
 
Finished in Tenmoku, the cup has a simple, understated shape that works equally well for everyday use or more considered table settings. Alongu’s approach is rooted in the food culture and craft traditions of Hasami, with a focus on thoughtful production and reducing waste throughout the manufacturing process.
